Yes we have two SG 219 and two SG 221 - all possessed by "BurgasBus". Here's a picture of one of the two SG 219: http://phototrans.eu/2-184037.html I rode on it today and I can say that this must be the best articulated urban model in Burgas - the noise is very deaf and the bus is beautiful unlike the coffins Mercedes O405G and MAN SG 242 and NG **2, not to mention Ikarus 280. My personal favorite is and is always going to be Chavdar 141, even considering the bad condidtion of all 6 pieces, but if I have to be objective Setra is the best. The only thing I don't like about it is the weak engine (only 240 h.p.). But I don't know why the other Setra SG219 runs only on the lines which go to some villages since its inception here - it's a too slow bus for interurban lines. The same thing happened to the two Neoplan N4021NF in the month of April - they suddendly went to the villages and the one is already scrapped (or at least it's hanging in the garage for couple of months with no lights), due to the terrible roads there and the bad handling of "BurgasBus". Well, the dispatcher is a junkie :(
Generally articulated Setra is not good for citylines, because it has too many seats and too little place for standing passangeres. But I think BurgasBus should use all Ikarus buses for villages, and modern buses for city Do you know that there were 8 buses similar to Chavdar 141 built in Poland and called Jelcz M180?
Yes, I do, but I didn't know they were so few O.O Chavdar 141 has 41 pieces including the prototype of the model. 30 for Sofia, 10 for Burgas and the protoype was bought by "BurgasBus" in 2004 and was recently scrapped, because it was a garbage compared to the serial-ones.
