@Fisch: don't be a silly! Every 116Na/1 measures the voltage! First of all this car measures the damages of the traction (it has a special camera and screen) and record it on the tape. The crew of #388 have max 14 days to visit all tramway network. They also have special numbered routes. /kl
hm, you should notice that 13N and 105Na also have voltage measuring equipment :P
Tramwaje Slaskie doesn't need many volts, of course - a a handy phone battery would probably be enough. I have been to Kazimiersk on a 105Na where the meter showed only 440 volts, and we were still moving - amazing!
this is one of few advantages of old electric vehicles - they still go on even if there is low voltage. new ones won't cooperate, if the voltage is too low :P
I agree - modern electronic systems will only work if the voltage and conditions are exactly right. Old trams don't have such problems!
