18 czerwca 1976 - Douglas, Isle of Man - Derby Castle. Saloon tram 9 stands at the southern terminus of the MER before setting off on its 30km trip to Ramsey. Note the railway-style oil lamp on the rear of the tram – these are retained for safety reasons, in case the electric lights fail in the dark. The Victorian iron and glass canopy covered the terminal tracks of the Douglas horse trams, but was demolished soon afterwards in a mindless act of vandalism.
