Awesome! :O
I can clearly see that the trip was preetty interesting!
welcome back I missed your exotic photos and here I have too much such things
Hi Tomek - thanks. We all have some amazing pictures to show you (and bugger the Pyramids.....)
OMFG Extremely interesting! I was waiting for somebody who will go to Egypt, congratulations, you are the winner
Dirty is a quite....calm to describe the view. No, I can't find a more "climatic" photo!
Dirty places are often a very good scenery for photos, especially tram photos It was one of my dreams - to go to Egypt just for taking tram photos. Many years ago I saw extremely fantastic photos with trams, desert and nothing else. I thought (and still think...?) it's too dangerous trip due to many terrorist attacks. Maybe it's just another stereotype?
Egypt is perfectly safe to visit - far safer, in fact, than most European cities (no real alcohol or drugs problems), even in such poor districts as this - and the people are amazingly friendly. Go there if you have the chance!
Heh, couple of people got shot looking at the pyramids a few years ago and suddenly everyone thinks there is a civil war out there. I felt safer than in London or Poznan. PS - Dave - Egypt is on Google Maps - the street is called El Harery Street! I'll set about adding Alex trams to the database later today. Cheerio!
..as we're speaking about database - don't you think guys, that there is no need to put the word "tram" into the vehicle's name?
Seems weird to me, but of course I am not an expert on Egyptian transport.
@robert - that's me who added the vehicle description. I don't have any strong views either way, but I felt that, as a Japanese vehilce where we don't actually know the model number, we really needed some sort of descriptor.

@Křemílek: zdjęciem roku to ono będzie pod koniec roku, na razie jest zdjęciem miesiąca /kl
This picture actually tells a very sad story - Straphan can run faster than me, so he got the best looking goat
Is there any connection between Cairo and Helwan tram nets? Btw, I really like this photo!
No connection - they are about 30km apart. The Helwan trams are the same type as many in Cairo, though.
@Křemílek: no przebić je może tylko... jakieś inne zdjęcie z Egiptu /kl
