6 sierpnia 2012 - Manchester (UK) – Museum of Transport. Crossley was a major bus manufacturer until 1952, when the company was bought by AEC and eventually closed down. Their buses had many good features, but were let down by a poor engine and their reputation suffered as a result. Manchester Corporation bought many Crossley buses, as they were the local manufacturer. This particular example was a tram replacement bus bought in 1949, just when the last Manchester tramways were closing.
