Lithuanian? Wow! How can anyone believe that if they show bus built in Poland almost 2 years ago and with polish registration plates? I think AMZ tries to gain social trust to get into Lithuanian market. But it would be good if some buses were made in Lietuva.
Yes. That sounds ridiculous. Even if L-Bus did take part in assembly of this bus, it doesn`t mean that they can claim it as their own. I don`t know how but L-Bus got mentioned in factory plate - http://fotobus.msk.ru/photo/1051822/
Here is interview with director of AMZ: http://infobus.pl/text.php?from=search&id=50416 L-Bus is described as a company made with Cegelec to sell AMZ buses in Lietuva. I think they will try to organise assembly-factory there. Maybe they think they have more chances on the bus market if they claim it`s lithuanian bus?
Perhaps. But in Lithuania no one would buy such vehicle. 1st reason - it`s electrical. No one knows how to deal with it. 2nd reason - too expensive. Only few companies can afford to buy new vehicles and even fewer actually have routes which fit such bus.
At the end of Febuary 2014 the roadtest of those buses will start on the street of Tallinn - just to see how it suites to our climate and circumstances. Testing by Tallinn City Transportation Company.
