| Inne informacje | Xplore Dundee is a bus operator in the city of Dundee which has been part of the McGill`s Buses Group since December 2020. The company started as Dundee and District Tramways Company, which commenced horse tram operations on 30 August 1877. In 1899 the company was bought by the city council and became Dundee City Tramways. In 1922 they started operating buses besides trams, with buses taking over fully by 1956. In 1975 the company passed to Tayside Regional Council, with deregulation in the UK in 1986 the company was restructured and became Tayside Bus Company Ltd. In 1997 it was sold to the National Express Group and was renamed Travel Dundee. In 2008 the company was rebranded National Express Dundee. From September 2015 a new livery and brand was introduced, the company being called Xplore Dundee. In December 2020 National Express sold the company to McGill`s. The fleet up until December 2020 can be found under National Express Dundee. | |||
