| Inne informacje | This company can be traced back to 1984 when the Birmingham Coach Company was set up. In 2000 the company was renamed Diamond Bus. Go-Ahead bought the company in December 2005, when it traded as Go West Midlands. In early 2006 People`s Express of West Bromwich was also taken over by Go-Ahead and merged into this fleet. In 2008 the company was sold to Rotala and the company was renamed Diamond Bus. Rotala also owned Central Connect and North Birmingham Busways, two operators in the same area. In 2011 these brands were merged into Blue Diamond. A later development was the creation of the brand Red Diamond, this focused on the Redditch and North Worcestershire area and Black Diamond around Kidderminster and the Black Country. Since 2012 these companies together have formed Diamond West Midlands. The fleet grew further in early 2013 with the acquisition of First Midland West`s Redditch and Kidderminster depots. In 2017 Diamond took over the Wednesfield bus operation from Arriva Midlands. Later in the year the company also took over Hanson`s Local Buses who operated around Stourbridge and Dudley. In 2022 the bus operations of Claribel Coaches was purchased by Rotala. | |||
