| Inne informacje | This operation dates back to 1892, when Plymouth Corporation Tramways Department was operating horse-drawn trams. In 1914 Devonport & District Tramways was absorbed into the corporation. The Corporation moved to the Milehouse depot following the takeover, a depot dating from 1901. Another tramway was taken over in 1922, Plymouth, Stonehouse and Devonport Tramways Company. Tram operation in Plymouth finished in 1945. Plymouth Citybus was formed in 1986 as a municipal operator, owned by the city of Plymouth. It remained council owned until 2009, when in December 2009 it was taken over by the Go-Ahead Group. Besided buses, the company has continued to operate coaches under the brand Plymouth Citycoach. Since 2023 this part of the business trades as Go Southwest Coach Hire. In 2020 the Go-Ahead Group merged the management of the groups Devon and Cornwall operations into Go South West and buses are now listed under that operation. | |||
