| Inne informacje | Arriva North East`s history can be traced back to the 1980s when United Automobile Services was split in two. The northern part of United (Northumbria) was sold to British Bus in 1994. The southern part of United (County Durham, North Yorkshire and Teesside) following a number of sales became part of the Cowie Group in 1996. Cowie Group bought British Bus in 1996, which brought the two operations of United back to the same owner. In 1997 the companies were renamed Arriva North East, Arriva Northumbria, Arriva Tees & District, Arriva Teesside and Arriva Durham County.
