Inne informacje | Solent Blue Line was set up in 1987 by Southern Vectis to compete against Southampton Citybus (which later became First Southampton). Solent Blue Line took over Hants & Sussex later in 1987 from Stagecoach South, increasing the size of the fleet by about 100 buses. Some services used to be operated by Brijan Tours and Marchwood Motorways. In 2003 the brand Bluestar was introduced for a number of busier routes. In 2005 Solent Blue Line and Southern Vectis was sold to the Go-Ahead Group. In 2006 Marchwood Motorways was purchased by Go-Ahead Group. From 2008 the company continued trading as Bluestar, replacing the Solent Blue Line. In 2014 the company was merged into Go South Coast. The Bluestar brand is still used for the buses operating in the Southampton area. |
