I hope so - but no photos on phototrans.eu since 2003, and then only indoors. I'll check my other Wroclaw pics and see if I've seen it recently. Someone local must know.....
Hmm... two years ago I have seen list of preserved trams in wroclaw but I don't remember If this car was on this list.
I'd like to see that list, if anyone still has it - I'm very confused!
As I remember this list was very confidential. Situation here with old trams is very sick
I agree there have been problems. As I was told, the German man who ran the museum got into a very messy divorce. The Baba Jaga tram is named after his wife.
As far I know, "Baba Jaga" wasn't his wife. This story is more "complicated". I know that she is/was really sick and she is not taking part in public life anymore. After TMKM falling apart in 2003 no one was interested in these trams. Until 2006 when bus&tram lovers section was established in Towarzystwo Miłośników Wrocławia, but this section is only couple of young enthusiasts and it is not taken seriously by both TMW leaders and Wroclaw city office (owner of these old trams). Now this section is also falling apart. TMW "has" some ancient trams like 1217, 1209 but they are using it only as a source of money and they are not interested in renovation, repairs (just exploitation) - hopefully trams are more hardy than bus. But in the end these all trams will finish like "Fredruś": http://www.phototrans.eu/14,250764,0.html (Fredruś is still waiting for repair (for two or three years)).
Thanks, everyone. I found another picture of #1192 at Legnicka in 2007, so I assume it's still there.
Yes. Only two LH cars left Wroclaw (1076->Krakow in 1984, 1020(G20) to Warsaw (1996).
