| Inne informacje | Lancashire United was formed in April 2001, using a name which had previously been used by a large bus company until 1976. The company was formed after Stagecoach Ribble sold their Blackburn operation to the Blazefield Group. Another company acquired by the Blazefield Group at the same time from Stagecoach was Burnley & Pendle. Several contracted services were passed to the operator Northern Blue. In 2006 the French company Transdev purchased the Blazefield Group, becoming Transdev Lancashire United. Later in 2006 the municipal operator Blackburn Transport was sold to Transdev, being incorporated into Transdev Lancashire United from the start of 2007. In the summer of 2007 Transdev acquired Accrington Transport and Northern Blue, bringing services in the Clitheroe area back into Transdev/Blazefield ownership. Northern Blue was merged into Transdev Burnley & Pendle in September 2009. In July 2016 Transdev rebranded the company as The Blackburn Bus Company. | |||
