24 marca 2012 - Gent/Ghent (BE) – Sint-Veerle Plein. A Hermelijn articulated, low-floor tram outside the castle entrance in Ghent. These trams now operate most of the traffic here and the classic PCCs are relegated to secondary duties. I was interested to see the Ghent tramway again after a gap of several years – some lines are still broken as the city continues to dig, with the apparent intention of creating the biggest underground car parks in Europe – what a mess! Also, the trolleybus wiring is still there in many places, even though the service finished in 2009.
