23 kwietnia 2015 - Debrecen, tramway depot: One of the 1997-built series production of Ganz-Hunslet articulated trams which run in Debrecen. I have noticed several small detail differences between the appearance of these and the 1993 prototype, #500. Both Ganz (once the most important Hungarian tramway builder) and Hunslet (who built, amongst other things, the subway cars for the City of Glasgow) have now closed down.

23 kwietnia 2015 - Debrecen, tramway depot: The city of Debrecen has largely copied Budapest by purchasing various home-grown Ganz trams over the years, including a small batch of the modern Ganz-Hunslet KCSV6 model which was offered from the early 1990s. The company soon went out of business, however, leaving these trams as unique as the very last Ganz trams to be built. It must be hoped that the city has a good spare parts contract, if it is to keep them in service for many more years. #500 shown here was the first to be supplied, followed by others a few years later.

13 sierpnia 2006 - Debreczyn, Piac utca. Przegląd taboru zaczynamy od tramwajów. Na jedynej linii w mieście kursują praktycznie wyłącznie takie oto tramwaje Ganz (w szczycie potrzeba 11 jednostek taborowych i tyleż ich właśnie jest). Jeden z nich o numerze 500 to prototyp, który jest moim zdaniem najładniejszy.

13 sierpnia 2006 - Debreczyn, Petöfi tér. W Debreczynie funkcjonują obok siebie zarówno autobusy, trolejbusy jak i tramwaje. Te ostatnie kursują tylko na jednej linii oznaczonej numerem 1. Trasa ma charakter okrężny: Nagyállomás - Egyetem - Nagyállomás. Częstotliwość kursowania jest natomiast bardzo wysoka: co 4 minuty w szczycie, co 4-6 poza nim, w weekendy co 6-8 minut. Tabor też jak widać ciekawy... Do obsługi linii potrzeba zatrudnić 11 tramwajów w szczycie, 9 poza nim i 7 w soboty i niedziele.
