12 maja 2007 - Gmunden, AT - Esplanade: Looking back at the little Gmunden tramway, just before the line is extended to link with the Traunseebahn light raillway, just a short distance away along the lakeside. This tramway is (currently) the shortest in Austria, and also the steepest, reaching 2.3km and a gradient of 9.6% on its way from the lake to Gmunden railway station. Car #5, seen here, was built in 1911 in Graz and is a typical small-town tram of the period.
